Sister's Market |

Situated in the heart of Melbourne for the next week is the Sister's Market, a crafty affair originating from the quaint suburb of Fitzroy that has been brought into the city for the festive season.
Armed with gingerbread and toffee nut lattes, my fellow traveler Cassie and I went to check out what the crafty Melbourne vendors had to offer. We found some handmade jewellery, custom designed cards, a whole stand dedicated to quirky accessories for bicycles, recycled vintage suitcases turned speakers and handmade fabric headbands!
I took these photos with my Canon EOS 550D which was my constant companion during my big overseas trip, but surprisingly I haven't taken it out since I got back. Walking around with my camera again brought back memories of those days roaming around Paris (which I will be blogging about soon in the travel posts!).

It's a minion from Despicable Me! Call me a big kid but I absolutely love that movie.

Lunch was an Italian affair at Pellegrini's Bar, but not before discovering the amazing talent of Tom Ward (pictured above), whose music literally stopped us in our tracks. His Spanish guitar sounds brought us back to Barcelona, and he is definitely one of the street artists in Melbourne worth watching! Check out his music here on http://www.youtube.com/user/tomward8 (especially the "Fantasy" piece).
