Okay before we get too excited..**disclaimer!!** I did not make those gorgeous little cupcakes. They were made by my friend Em @ A Diva Bakes, a broadway musical fanatic, a talented performer (and a little bit of a diva).
Em just started her own YouTube channel this year with fun, easy-to-follow videos on baking. Her baked goods are normally Broadway-inspired (think green cupcakes for Wicked) but today, she is showing us how to make these Peanut Butter Kit Kat cupcakes in celebration of RSPCA Cupcake Day!
If you're curious about it, RSPCA is the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a community-based charity in Australia that run local animal shelters where people can go and give previously abandoned animals a new home. They also care for injured animals, including household pets and wild animals that are found injured.
Each year, they run a Cupcake Day to help raise funds in support of our furry friends, including the injured ones who are still needing a bit of TLC and the lonely pets waiting in the local shelters to go to a loving home.
So in celebration of RSPCA Cupcake Day and to give you a bit of inspiration for your next procrasti-baking session, here is a tutorial on how to make Peanut Butter Kit Kat Cupcakes!
If you want to get involved with RSPCA Cupcake Day, you can find more information here.
And if you want to see more from A Diva Bakes, feel free to pop over to her YouTube channel for some baking tutorials and Broadway interviews.
xoxo
