the night when we ran away and joined the circus
Ah December, you have finally arrived. A time for busily rushing out deliverables at work, a time for reflecting on 'the year that was' and of course, a time for partying!
Every year one of the biggest events on our social calendar is the annual ball, where we get to dress up, wine and dine and party the night away with our work besties at the glamorous Crown Palladium. This year the fashion buzz was well and truly in the air, as I proudly watched my colleagues bring out their finest fashion flair. Staying true to the vintage theme, the boys decked out in their finest double breasted blazers, vests and pleated shirts while the girls went with plunging necklines and a touch of lace (except for my graduate 'buddy' Madeline and myself, who both opted for a conservative neckline with soft pastel fabric - peach for me and pale blue florals for her).
