Perhaps it's the fact that Melbourne has now well and truly entered its colder months, with the windy, rainy days accompanied by chilly nights that make you want to curl up on the couch with lots of soup and Netflix. Yet somehow, ironically, off-the-shoulder tops have become my new style obsession.
I blame the northern hemisphere, with its fashion editors and bloggers getting all excited about "Spring" and the "warmer weather", gloating about new silhouettes and bikini body workouts across twitter and instagram. Maybe we should hit back and get excited about "Autumn/Winter/4 seasons a day" and the cute boots and scarves and massive coats that we're about to wear for like months...
...oh who am I kidding.
