An intimate affair at Megan Park
A while ago, I had the pleasure of attending the Autumn Winter 2013 launch of designer Megan Park in her Armadale boutique. It was the first time that I had been to a launch where the designer talked through the inspiration behind each piece as the model showcased the latest collection. Each print had it's own story and Megan invited us into her world as she spoke about her collaborations with silk printers in India and her passion for prints that represented nature. After the show, she left us with the parting gift of a fabric covered notebook created by PUNJALI - a group of artisans in Kolkata - that also supports the works of Tomorrow's Foundation. Her passion for both fashion and philanthropy left a warm glow in our hearts!
